Tommy had learned those lessons.

He had been through the worst in life. He had suffered incredible trauma and had made a life that was meaningful and full of love.

He had a wife who was the love of his life.

He had a daughter who was the light of his life.

Everything was as it should be.

And then it wasn’t.

A danger he never saw coming struck without warning. He was suddenly in a fight for his life and his daughter was being used as bait.

There was no time left.
