Is book 17 the end?
The end of the series will be done in two parts. Part 1 is book 17 and part 2 is book 18. Book 17 will be released memorial day weekend and book 18 will be released labor day weekend.
As for what’s next.
I’m not sure. I am constantly writing and I know I will put more books out. I have also been thinking a lot about the future of these characters. I have not ruled out following the kids as they grow, but I don’t know yet if it’s something I want to do.
The way the series ends will make certain scenarios moot, but it will also open up some unexpected ideas. I am still in the process of penning the final chapters, a process that has been more difficult than I could have imagined. It’s not that I don’t know how it will end, but these characters are my family and I don’t know how I will ever let them go. They have been with me through some of the hardest moments in my life and saying goodbye to them is like parting with a huge part of my life. It’s not easy, but it’s time.
I appreciate your support so much and this series never would have gone anywhere without your interest.
