It’s the weekend!

Here is another flashback I haven’t printed…yet.

Enjoy!

Tommy and Jack were hanging out at home doing homework and studying when Julie came in from a sleepover. They didn’t expect her for a little while, but were happy she was home.

They didn’t like the friend who she was staying with and both men hesitated to say anything. Julie had turned 16 and she was struggling with so many things. It was harder and harder for Tommy or Jack to get her to talk to them and the more she hung out with her friends, the less she wanted them around.

“Hey,” Jack smiled as she walked in. “Did you have fun?”

She blushed when she looked at him and sat on the chair in the room.

“It was fine.”

Tommy caught Jack’s eye and they could sense something was going on. If she was her normal self, she would have gone to her room to be alone. The fact she didn’t, made them think she wanted to talk.

“Okay,” Tommy said. “Did you have breakfast?”

“I’m good.”

“You seem a little upset. Did something happen?” Jack asked.

She looked at them and her eyes were full of tears.

“I need to talk to someone.”

Both men put their books down and looked at her.

“We’re here, Jules. What’s going on?” Jack asked.

“Not you two. It’s too embarrassing,” she said and sniffed. “I need my mom.”

Tommy hated when she said that. He hated so much that he was unable to help her.

“The therapist said it would be helpful if you wrote her a letter when you wanted to tell her something. Maybe that would help?”

“That was when I was 12. This isn’t letter writing stuff.”

“Okay, so maybe you just have to tell us and let us try to help.”

She wiped her eyes and looked at Jack.

“Does he know?”

Jack blinked and looked at her.

“You’ll have to be more specific. Know what?”

“What you do to make money,” she said.

Tommy was confused and he looked at his sister and Jack.

“I don’t have a job, you know that,” Jack said. “I am on a scholarship and my mom left me enough for now. What’s going on here?”

“I saw something last night that was horrible. I don’t know how I stayed when it was going on.”

Tommy stood up and crossed his arms.

“Were there drugs there? Drinking? I’m calling the house.”

“No,” Julie said. “Nothing like that.”

Jack exhaled a sigh of relief.

“Okay, so that’s good, but I still don’t know what happened or how it has to do with a job you think I have.”

“Bailey brought over a movie and we all watched it.”

“Okay, so what movie?” Tommy asked.

She whispered something and they both tried to hear what she said.

“Can you speak in a decibel that we can hear?” Jack asked.

“It was a movie called Edward Penishands.”

The two men were quiet and then they struggled not to laugh.

“You watched a porno?”

She turned scarlet and got up.

“Never mind. I shouldn’t have said anything.” Besides, it’s not the porno that was the issue. I’ve seen things like that before.”

“No, Jules, wait. I’m glad you told us. We need to talk about this,” Tommy said. “You’ve seen them before?” he asked her.

“Wait. Why do you think I have a strange job?”

“Because all of my friends thought you were ‘Edward’. Do you know how humiliating that was?”

Tommy looked at him and burst out laughing.

“What? I would never be in a porno,” Jack said. “I mean, not that I’m against taping myself with a gorgeous woman,” he stopped when Tommy smacked him with a pillow. He blushed.

“Right. Never.”

“After a while, I realized it probably wasn’t you, but I wasn’t sure. And then I realized that I am so inexperienced and the other girls were commenting on things that I never even knew existed.”

“It wasn’t me! I have never been in a porno!” Jack said. “I mean, do you think I was?”

“You do know there is no such thing as a man with penises for hands,” Tommy said.

“Really? I thought they only came out at night,” she rolled her eyes and Tommy laughed.

“I need you both to tell me you believe it wasn’t me,” Jack said again.

Tommy and Julie smiled at him.

“We believe you.”

“No, I don’t think you do. I think I need to rent the movie and make sure,” he said.

“Make sure what? That you didn’t film a porno you don’t realize?” Tommy asked.

Jack sulked and shrugged.

“I feel dirty.”

Julie walked over and hugged him.

“I’m sorry. I just never want to see anything like that again. The incident was bad enough.”

“Seriously! You said we would never mention that again!” Jack whined and Tommy laughed.

“Look, let’s talk, anything you want to know. Right here and now we’ll answer,” Tommy said.

“No, I don’t think so,” Julie said.

“Well if you have questions from watching a porno, the answer to everything is no. None of the things you see on one of those movies is normal or expected. Those men aren’t real and what they do isn’t normal,” Tommy said.

“Well, all I know is that I will never let anyone do anything like that to me. I think I’ll stay celibate my whole life,” Julie said and sighed.

Tommy and Jack smiled.

“Well then this was the best sleepover ever,” Jack grinned.

“Anyway, I guess if it wasn’t you, then I’m good. Besides, if you were going to star in a porno, you should pick one with better production value. I mean that plot was just ridiculous. A girl wants to be touched and not by penises,” she said and grabbed a donut.

Tommy and Jack listened to her and felt sick.

“Go to your room,” Tommy said.

Julie grinned.

“I’m just saying,” she winked and ran upstairs.
